Avenue of the Giants

29/10/2018

Avenue of the Giants in Northern California runs through Humboldt Redwoods State Park, which is home to the tallest trees in the world, the amazing Redwoods. It is an absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful place, and I feel very lucky to have been able to experience it.

Beach Walk View

Taken with phone, wishing I had brought my camera along for better quality. Still, the view is awesome.

Nearly identical, but which one?

In Germany I cycled through many beautiful landscapes, including this one in the Harz. I would very much appreciate it if you could let me know which image you like best, and why? I have been looking at these two for a while now, and I would love to hear from you, fellow bloggers, in the comments which one you prefer, and why (or any other comments you have regarding the photos). Thank you!

Here comes the rain!

22/08/2017

When I visited the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia our very experienced tour guide knew that rain was coming. He rushed the bus in high speed from one end of the mountains to another, to a place on the rocks where he knew we would get some good shots before getting soaked. So it’s not mist you see, but it’s the rain coming. It was an awesome experience (albeit somewhat rushed) to see, and smell it all coming toward us, get a few shots and rush back into the bus before the pour down.
