Walks are good, walks in nature are great, walks in nature with a camera are best!

Foliage and Colour part 1 – Jewellery

30/04/2020

For no particular reason I have not kept up with my blog rhythm of posting once a month. In the coming weeks I will be posting a few photos of nature to make up for it.

This first one reminds me of jewellery, long, wild, and colourful necklaces 🙂

A little bit of green

29/07/2019

Photos of a very enjoyable bush walk, and an invitation for tips on editing the colour. I don’t always find it easy to get the right balance of red, green and blue in these bush images. Thank you beforehand.

Bushwalk

Taken with mobile phone on a lovely bushwalk. Delighted to find the silver fern’s koru, which signifies ‘new life and growth’, and the face with the cicada nymph exoskeleton as a tattoo!

Balance

Found on one of my walks, shot with mobile phone.

Be inspired

May the new year bring you the focus and light you need for a creative and inspirational life.

Don’t worry about the bokeh, and may you be exposed to a peaceful time without too much noise!

Thank you for visiting and following my blog. Here’s to another reflective, balanced and wide-angled new year!

Avenue of the Giants

29/10/2018

Avenue of the Giants in Northern California runs through Humboldt Redwoods State Park, which is home to the tallest trees in the world, the amazing Redwoods. It is an absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful place, and I feel very lucky to have been able to experience it.

Beach Walk View

Taken with phone, wishing I had brought my camera along for better quality. Still, the view is awesome.

Three White Men

18/12/2017

These three go well with the nice waltz ‘Snowstorm’ by Georgy Sviridov, courtesy of ukhtinka’s Youtube channel.

Thanks for your visits and comments 🙂 It’s fun and I appreciate it a lot.

Best wishes for a good Christmas and happy holidays!

Here’s to lots of new and wonderful inspirations waltzing into the new year!
