A little bit of green

29/07/2019

Photos of a very enjoyable bush walk, and an invitation for tips on editing the colour. I don’t always find it easy to get the right balance of red, green and blue in these bush images. Thank you beforehand.

Handicraft

25/01/2019

I thought I would start the new year with some handicraft. It’s something that inspires me and I’m planning to do this year, hoping to be able to combine it with my photography in some way.

These images were shot in Geyer, a small town in Saxony, Germany. There was a medieval festival the day I visited to celebrate that Geyer had been a town already for 550 years. It was an unexpected and fun morning! And now I’m off to my crochet workshop……

Filtered Landscape

28/04/2018

Taken through a car window on a trip through the Netherlands. Not the best photograph ever, but somehow it appeals to me with the bowl shaped clouds, the lines in the grass, the line of bare trees, the sun and the shadows, the faint rainbow, and the strange marks in the sky. Enough reasons to post it on this blog!

Golden Gate Graveyard Has Arrived

11/11/2016

This book has been written by Jet Eliot. I have been following her nice and informative blog jeteliot.wordpress.com for a few years now. She is a very good writer and a bird and wildlife watcher, who travels the world and blogs not only about her adventures, but a variety of other things as well. Her blog is well worth a visit, I always learn something new.
